Hi there,nice idea going for a mermaid.
I think her colors go well together. Mabe a blue shirt would work a bit better than purple, but ok.
The proportions and simplicity is fine as well, except for her butt, that one is huge ! ^^
It feels a little odd how she huggs the stone, too. As if it was a dear friend. I understand that she is exhausted, but wouldnt you want to lay down to rest ?
Just my thoughts.
